Once the vehicle has been chosen, the car rental application between private individuals will send you an electronic key to use the car immediately after payment. No need to meet the owner, the digital key is immediately transmitted to your smartphone. According to the company, the digital key is more secure than the physical key. Unlike a traditional key, this one can be deactivated remotely, cannot be duplicated and cannot be lost.
In short, it facilitates the exchange and reduces the technical steps and procedures for car rental between individuals. Once received, the renter of the vehicle cannot use the key outside the allotted time previously chosen.
