Maskmaker finds himself in an enigmatic trailer


After completing one of the best VR games of 2019 With A Fisherman's Tale, InnerspaceVR returns with the first trailer for Maskmaker, an enigmatic adventure.

According to this teaser, the studio has chosen to keep the aesthetic of their previous success. But particularly with regard to Maskmaker, the plot unfolds in a universe governed by Prospero, the manufacturer of the title's masks.

Thus, the gamer puts himself in the shoes of the master's new apprentice. The latter will then teach him the secrets of magic by using masks. These magical masks will allow you in particular to immerse yourself in the mysterious life of the beings who inhabit the game. the world of masks will have 8 "biomes", each with their own culture and style of mask.

Thus, putting on a mask allows you to blend in with the spirits that inhabit every biome. In this way, you will get to know the different regions, the only way to unlock others. But at the same time, you will learn more about the character of Prospero.

Maskmaker trailer invites you into the master's workshop

In fact, it is in the latter's workshop that you can make the first mask that will allow you to collect the materials needed to make others. You can already get a preview of this workshop in the trailer. Notice the sketch hanging on the wall, the vats of dyes or the mannequin that will be used for your confections.

We have no idea yet how the game will present its various puzzles. However, we should expect to be surprised if we base ourselves on the previous titles of InnerspaceVR. That said, enjoy this trailer as Maskmaker will not be released. not before the first quarter of 2021.

We know, however, that the game will be compatible with Oculus Rift, Valve Index, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR. Good news, a French version of the interface will be available upon release. In the meantime, check out the first images:
