Oculus Rift, bad news in sight! (denial!)

This announcement is like a bomb! While writing this title, I have itchy eyes myself… This is the question of the day! When will we see the commercial version of the Oculus Rift? If we refer to the words of Palmer Luckey, we will not see the Rift before the end of 2015 ...

A strong disappointment if however these words are true. Indeed, we can only speculate for the moment on the future of the Oculus Rift. However, Luckey knew how to arouse the curiosity of the fans during an interview made by a journalist of the radio NPR (National Public Radio) where he affirms to hope a release within 18 to 20 months.

Obviously you will understand… If we do the math, we may not be able to have our much awaited Oculus Rift before September 2015! So we're going to have to be patient if Palmer Luckey is seriously considering marketing until the end of next year. A confirmation of these statements would also be welcome to be fixed! Strongly the DK2 in order to be able to recover from this announcement.

The DK2 (Development Kit 2) which will be shown during the GDC 2014 where Oculus VR is planning a conference on March 19th. Fingers crossed that this DK2 is marketed quickly thereafter.
