When a French creation points its nose, we are obliged to put it forward! Because yes, ladies and gentlemen, The Rift URIDIS is a promising project coded and designed by little French mimines! For the moment, the game is in its infancy but the first throws make you want to! You can also visit their website to see the progress of their project. For the moment, only (magnificent) artworks are available, but what the team wants to develop really makes you want!
Before explaining what the game will offer, we will simply explain what a shoot'em up is for beginners. It's usually a shooter where you take control of a ship and try to sweep away all the enemies on the screen. For example, the first known shoot'em up is the famous Space Invaders. Since then, there have been a lot of different shoot'em ups, in 2D or 3D in short, in itself, this is nothing new. On the other hand, the fact of being inside the ship, to direct it and to aim thanks to a simple movement of the head, that is new! And that's what The Rift URIDIS offers! The eleven students responsible for this promising software promise us intuitive piloting, a frenzied shooter, total immersion, global management of the cockpit and aiming thanks to our gaze! We don't have a release date yet, but we'd love to get a demo to get your teeth into it!
