- A notable change in customer behavior
- Virtual reality will become widespread for marketing
- Towards an evolution that could upset brands
The American database company "Oracle" has launched a vast survey of 800 customer relations experts from large companies in order to predict the evolution of brands in their relationship with the customer in the years to come. Surprise, 78% of them plan to offer solutions based on virtual reality, over the next 4 years, to improve their interactions with their customers.
A notable change in customer behavior
According to the study called "?" (can virtual experience replace reality?), brands noted that customers increasingly favor self-service when interacting with the company. Business marketers have also noticed that with the potential of the internet, many customers have previously researched a product on the web.
Another observation noted by the sales directors of large retail companies, more and more customers are making a purchase or even asserting their after-sales service rights without going through human resources. Companies also admit that social networks have changed the behavior of buyers but that the majority of brands do not know how to properly use the data from these new formats.
Virtual reality will become widespread for marketing
Based on these findings, the majority of brands are now betting on virtual reality in order to better respond to changes in customer behavior. Virtual reality marketing will therefore take its place in the next four years.
78% of brands are already thinking about using this technology to best promote their products to consumers. The first virtual reality marketing experiences were particularly successful and were not limited to the simple fact of presenting a product virtually but offered a very wide range of possibilities that only the imagination of advertisers limited.. As proof, these 5 particularly successful virtual reality marketing experiences.
Towards an evolution that could upset brands
Many brands are still wondering if virtual reality is the future of marketing or if it is just a passing fad.. For other companies, the question does not arise and they have already started to invest in this technology in order to familiarize themselves with it and get ahead of their competitors.
It remains to find the right formula, optimize the information they have about their customers and better analyze their behavior in order to offer an interaction that is at the same time fast, impactful and more personalized.
