This is at ESMOD, and with the help of Avanade, that we organized the first edition of VR Break, Thursday February 2. We aimed to organize an evening reserved for professional actors in the world of VR. And the bet has been held!

Conferences and pitches by startups to break the ice

The VR Break offered guestsattend three conferences, punctuated by pitches from young French shoots. Philippe Fuchs, from École les Mines, began the evening in presenting to some 150 people present the evolution of VR and its uses. These are then Skyboy, Backlight and Opuscop startupse who took over, presenting their concept to us in turn for three minutes.

Me Catherine Chabert moderated the second conference around the law and construction of the legislation governing VR and AR. After a few questions from the audience, the lawyer left her place to 360Player, Natur Software and iStaging. Damien Mulhem, COO of Group XXII, closed the conferences by explaining how thought could become the future remote control VR. Regarding the pitches, they are Scalable Graphics and Kiss The Future which closed the ball.

Large groups and young shoots: the VR Break, the aperitif of VR networking

Everyone said they were delighted by the short and punchy format of the first part. hashtag #VRBreak has been able to bring together Twitter users, present on site or not. During the second part of the evening, participants have took advantage of an aperitif to exchange between them. Opuscope Holostoria demo, exchange of cards and debate around the pichrocoline war between Nokia Ozo and Orah 4i… So many interactions that animated this event to which representatives of large groups, such as Orange and Schneider Electric, were also present.
