- Skiing in virtual reality in the Eiffel Tower
During the Christmas holidays, it will be possible to enjoy a virtual reality ski experience on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Other VR experiences will also be available.
The Eiffel Tower regularly offers new attractions and experiences. For those who will not have the chance to go to winter sports at Christmas, it will however be possible to ski down the ski slopes in virtual reality. To live this experience, you will have to go to the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Attractions are also planned for children.
Skiing in virtual reality in the Eiffel Tower
The experience, which will be offered, from December 22, 2018 to January 6, 2019, goes beyond putting on a virtual reality headset and carrying controllers. It is indeed an Xtreme VR machines installation which will be installed on the first floor of the famous Parisian tower. Those who want to try the experience will be placed on a dynamic platform reacting to body movements to offer realistic sensations. A fan will also be used to simulate the wind generated by a straightforward descent of the runways.
Several different experiences are on the program of this simulator. You can choose to hurtle down a classic ski slope or even try the giant slalom and even ski jumping. For the less adventurous, a hang-gliding flight over the snow-capped peaks will also be there. The youngest on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower are not forgotten and can try the Kid Karting experience, a virtual race where they will drive an inflatable kart while viewing the circuit on a screen.
