HTC therefore intends to continue the adventure of virtual reality with new products, despite the vertiginous losses encountered by the Taiwanese group, in particular due to the sluggish sales of the company's smartphones.

The HTC Vive headset is currently the best available virtual reality device. Of very high quality, the helmet suffers from a major problem, its price. Not only, it is necessary to pay about 800 euros to acquire it but it is also necessary to have behind an overpowered computer which adds to the bill. In order to focus on a larger audience, HTC has therefore decided to soon launch a cheaper and mobile product.

Others evoke a headset with its own processor and screens. Everything would be calculated by the on-board equipment without the need for a smartphone and a memory card would allow applications or games to be imported onto the headset.

We will therefore have to wait before knowing more about this next HTC headset and the surprise it has in store. However, it is highly likely that the Taiwanese manufacturer is once again providing a high quality product which would be more affordable this time.
