Just over a year ago, legendary first and second generation Pokémon were introduced to the Pokémon Go mobile game. The Most Determined Trainers had the opportunity to capture them during raiding fights.
However, Pokémon Go has had a bit of a slump, and many players had left the game by this time. In fact, they never had the chance to add these powerful creatures to their Pokédex.
Pokémon Go: Legendary Gen 1 and 2 Pokémon as a Study Phase Reward
If so, good news! Throughout the month of December 2018, the legendary birds Artikodin, Electhor, Sulfura and the legendary dogs Entei, Suicune and Raikou are making their big comeback in PoGo.
This time, there is no question of capturing them after a raid. To get these Pokémon, you will need to Unlock Professor Willow's Study Phases by doing field research for 7 days in a row. Each Study Phase will allow you to obtain one of six Legendary Pokémon at random. If you play every day of the month, then you can get 4 different Legendary Pokémon.
As a reminder, from November 30 to December 3, 2018, a special Community Day also offers you the chance to capture a large number of previously highlighted Pokémon including Pikachu and the famous starters Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Germignon and Héricendre. By combining this event with that of field research, you will therefore be able to obtain many rare Pokémon without much effort by logging in this weekend ! An opportunity not to be missed !
